The empty nesters went up to the Dunes. Delaware? You don't see that often! Last roses of summer. The tree roots looked like a pot of gold with the sunset on them.
The orange pollution was lovely tonight.

Still waiting for the ginko tree to start its three day leaf off. The plant that seeded its self is starting to bud and bloom. The lower picture is an update of red maple.

September 21, 2010

The empty nesters went on a walk. I took my camera to get a picture of the cat that comes to greet me. She rolls on her back, on the sidewalk to get her tummy petted. The cat towards the bottom is Cosmo, Jordan's cat. She was out tonight. The leaf on the bottom is part of the fall experience. I see a little red tipping the leaf. The sunset was pretty enough to take a picture of. The picture of the car out the window is another story all together.  Pop Warner football was practicing in the park. What do you think of the pink shirts?

September 18, 2010

The Empty Nesters took our friend Diane to visit Rachel and see the ONU campus.

Rachel got a bike for her birthday present. Don't worry, you didn't forget Rachel's birthday, it was an early gift. Who wants a bike in November? Rachel will get lots of miles on the blue and white beauty this fall. Happy early birthday Rachel!

Carolyn came over tonight to finish what she started 5 years ago. Here are her last few strokes with the Prisma Color pencils. Thank you Carolyn for letting me be there when you started and when you finished.
This is my favorite picture of the night. The ring was the first thing that Carolyn drew. She said it was her inspiration to draw the picture. It looks as if the ring is watching her finish.  Goosebumps!

I was sitting on the back porch and the ginko looked very pretty with the setting sun on it. The windy picture reminds me of a Monet.

September 6, 2010

Katie snuggling with Ian's blanket. Katie was a fakeasourous this weekend. She went to visit her sick boyfriend and got sick herself. This is a picture of her feeling better.
