It was a very windy day and I wanted to capture a picture of the wind. Diane and I drove up to Chesterton so I could take this picture. Fun surprise to see a rainbow!

It was a windy gloomy day today. I took a quick picture of the last flowers of the season. The wind blew the rest of the ginkgo leaves off its branches today. Its official, I need to write this date on the shed door.

I went out to take a picture of the moon but it was too low on the horizon. I then tried taking a picture of a dandelion illuminated by back lights. This was the best I could do. I laid on the ground and tried focusing, but with an exposure of 10 seconds I couldn't get past the camera shake. I like the glimmer of the dandelion.

Truman was there first. Kipper went to his cage at dinner time only to find a friend waiting for him. I love Truman's eyes in this picture.

Rachel brought some friends home from school this weekend for some fall fun. Michelle and Carolyn were able to join the group. We went apple picking between rain storms. We saw a beautiful double rainbow today.

Carolyn was over visiting the empty nesters and while she was here she helped photoshop pictures of the Frank Loyd house. I learned a lot and was excited about taking pictures with my new knowledge. We talked about the use of vertical and horizontal lines. I did I do Carols?
