Rachel and I went downtown to get a picture of the ice sculptor before it melts.
The emptynesters and Rachel went to Sam's today and picked up some cheeseballs for New Years eve. Uncle Larry will be making his famous Swedish meatballs.

Merry Christmas
I took lots of pictures today with my new camera. Most of family and friends opening presents or celebrating together. It was a good day! Merry Christmas everyone!

December 24, 2010

My dad gave this to me today. :) She was the angel that we had on the tree when we were growing up.
I am very happy to get Angie for my tree.
When our house burnt she was the one thing I hoped made it through the fire and now she is on our tree!

I like how the red and green lights shine through the snow.
The lights make it look like cotton candy.
Can you stand another picture of the snowman?

Early morning shadows on the sparkly snow.
I didn't take this picture of Olivia but I had to post it!
She is soooo cute and she is holding the blanket I made for her recently.

Pastor Shawn got a new hat when he was on a mission trip to
Peru South America this summer. It was cold down there.
He wore it tonight as he patroled the
New Song/Newsboys concert that our church hosted.
The empty nesters sold concessions.

December 7, 2010

Bob and Karen had Uncle Jeff and the empty nesters over for chicken noodle soup and bread.
Chicken Noodle was just the thing I needed!

Today I had my last, in a series of tests to make sure the cancer didn't come back. I PASSED!
I get to have the chemo port taken out in January. It has been in my body for 4 years, time to let it go.
